Summary:The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, serving as therapist and Case Manager for patients in the Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program. The therapist is responsible for planning and delivery of therapy and educational services to patients, and, if indicated, to their families and significant others; monitoring and management of patient behavior in order to maintain the therapeutic environment and patient safety; performs admission, discharge and utilization review functions; and effectively markets the program. Other functions may be assigned.
Qualifications:

Masters Degree in psychology, social work or professional counseling.

Licensed Master of Social Work, Licensed Master of Psychology or Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan required. If currently possess a limited MSW license or Professional Counseling license, must obtain full licensure with the state of Michigan within 3 years of hire or transfer required.

Must have been involved in the delivery of mental health services for at least 1 year within the previous 5 years.

Must have, or obtain within ninety (90) days of hire or transfer, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Must attend crisis prevention and intervention training course within 6 months of hire.

Must participate in recipient rights instruction within 30 days of hire.

Interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups and interact with people at all levels to communicate ideas and concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
