Volunteer - Woodland (In-Home & Hospice House)

Woodland Hospice volunteers provide an extra special touch that enhances the patient experience.
There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers do not provide patient care or assist with patient care. Volunteer duties will vary in the amount of patient contact you have. For descriptions of service positions please refer to our website https://www.midmichigan.org/about/VolunteerOpportunities/ .
A minimum commitment of two (2) shifts per month in the service area of your choice is required; although volunteers may offer as many shifts as their schedules allow. A volunteer must commit to actively volunteer for a minimum total of six (6) months per calendar year.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with our organization!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
